The goal of Opti-stretch is to help people avoid needless reoccurring back pain due to muscle strain. Our specialty is a "level 4 problematic low back".

A primary goal is to incorporate the knowledge base of Opti-stretch into modern medicine. This is at best a very difficult endeavor.

Even if tomorrow modern medicine were to acknowledge these newly discovered scientific principles, direct benefit to the average individual would still be decades away.

Why is this? Several important key steps must be first accomplished. Modern medicine for the most part is a business where time is money. To achieve the accustomed annual salary, a price tag would need to be attached to each of the following steps. For some, many of the steps can be both easily and objectively accomplished with a book or DVD. For others, direct interaction with a knowledgeable individual is the preferred route to accomplish an objective evaluation and needed feedback to accomplish their goals.

  1. Screening test. At least 30 minutes are needed to perform the exam. This time constraint and limited exam room size makes this difficult for the average physician.

  2. Understanding the knowledge base. Depending on the individuals baseline knowledge, this again can be quite time consuming. For some, direct interaction with demonstration, direct feedback, question and answers are important for the individual to completely understand the information.

  3. Set goals to regain muscle health. Multiple locations of the hips, back, and neck are responsible for reoccurring back pain. While some the rehabilitation is quite straight foreword, others require a more complex approach for assessment and treatment program.

  4. Provide encouragement and support to achieve the Opti-stretch goals. For many, this is the difference between success and failure.

For the past 5 years, Opti-stretch has been offering classes to both gather more important information and to evaluate the difference between individuals given only a book or those who can interact with an instructor. Class-room work has been invaluable for many and class sizes are growing to a level where more instructors are needed. We at Opti-stretch believe that sufficient framework has been achieved to now offer the program in multiple geographic locations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals (especially in the fitness area) to expand their own knowledge, help others and to have a financially viable program in this difficult economy.

Until modern medicine can cost effectively provide these services, Opti-stretch is dedicated to help individuals achieve a health back with a minimum of cost.

Opportunities for an Opti-stretch franchise are now available. If interested, please contact us.
